Under Cover – In a Small Bed

In an empty space stands lost a doll bed in which a white duvet lies beneath which a creature seems to crouch and move restlessly. One can hear the rustling of the cloth and might observe the formation of the coverlet. We are barely able to recognize if the shadows and folds are real or projected. Old fears from childhood arouse.
This is a new work from the series „Under Cover“ (2011) in which covered bodies or limbs are projected onto white textiles in different quality and size.
The installation was part of the exhibition "Heimlichkeiten" of Petra Morenzi and Anna Anders at gallery haus34A, Bad Bentheim, Germany in November 2018.
