Under Cover
2011 – video projection onto variable materials
In a dark space a white fabric, a pillow or a matrass lies on the floor. Under the textile something seems to move constantly. One can hear the rustling of the cloth and observe the formation of the bundle. The viewer is barely able to recognize if the shadows and folds are real or projected. Old fears from childhood arouse.
„Under Cover“ includes a serie of several video sequences, which can be projected onto white textiles in different quality and size as pillows, blankets, towels, carpets or mattresses, depending on the space and situation.
